Position: 2008 VIP Sales Intern at Live Nation ChicagoSummer internships are available to hard-working, responsible individuals. This internship is designed to offer students hands-on sales/operations experience in the concert and entertainment industry at three of our amphitheatres; First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL, Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, IL, and Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Eastroy, WI.
Responsibilities:
While interacting with the Sales Coordinator and Sales Directors, the Intern will be responsible for participating in:
· Business Prospecting
· Coordinating VIP Client Relations
· Assisting onsite VIP operations (on show days and non show days)
· Coordinating VIP season ticket distribution and client incentives
· Completing client requested ticket orders
· Online research for operation
· Regular office duties (i.e. filing, answering phones, invoices)
Requirements:
Summer interns must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week between working in our downtown office and onsite at our venues. In addition, interns will be required to work evenings and weekends at various Live Nation events outside of the office.Summer Internships run from the middle of May through the middle of August. (Possibly earlier or later depending on Intern Flexibility) Having reliable ground transportation to go to and from one of our amphitheatres is desired.
Compensation:
This is an un-paid internship which will allow you as a student to retain better knowledge of the entertainment industry while having the opportunity to network and gain experience in the field!
